integration with phpbb - usergroups?

i've integrated my gallery with phpbb, works great! now the only question i have, is why do i need to import usergroups from phpbb into coppermine? any special reason for this?

assuming i have to, does that mean that i manually have to add each user that joins the forum to the usergroup (or he requests to do so himself), and after he/she joins i need to sync the usergroups each time?

any info appreciated...

If you have integrated properly, then all coppermines user management is now handled by the bbs, so you only have 1 set of users.  There is no need for you to do anything.  

The only thing you may need to do, is if you had users who were members on coppermine, but not the forum, is add them to the forum database.

...if you change your group settings (e.g. create a new group within phpbb), you'll have to visit coppermine's groups settings as well to trigger the re-sync of the groups, that's all.
