Hi,

I tried a new Coppermine/e107 bridge and had trouble in the middle of the process, and tried to backtrack.
Now, I have blank e107 admin pages.

How can I set my database tables back to how they were with Coppermine 1.35?
More details in this thread in the e107 forums.
http://e107.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?89802.0#post_90052

I would set up a test admin for you but I can't really do anything in admin right now.

Thanks,

There is no official e107 bridge so you will need to seek support from whoever you got it from. The documentation describes how to disable a bridge that is not working correctly.

Thanks for answering.
I checked the docs and tried what it suggested.

Since I had already replaced the new coppermine files with the old ones, bridgemgr.php wasn't there.
So, I moved it back to the server and opened it.
But, I guess it is dependant on some other files, because I got this error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: cpg_get_bridge_db_values() in /home/content/f/o/r/forkedatfark/html/e107_plugins/coppermine_menu/bridgemgr.php on line 572

Do I need to replace all the old coppermine files with the new ones to get bridgemgr to work?

My coppermine gallery is working fine, even though there might be a mismatch between the old files and the newer changes made to the database.

So, it isn't so much that the gallery doesn't work, but that other things don't work.

Well we can only help you with your gallery, not with other software or other peoples' hacks. cpg_get_bridge_db_values() is in include/functions.inc.php

I guess I need to replace all the old files with the newer ones because  I am still getting errors.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: db_query() in /home/content/f/o/r/forkedatfark/html/e107_plugins/coppermine_menu/include/init.inc.php on line 254

I guess I am on my own now.

Thanks

I guess you'll just need to restore your backup that you no doubt created before upgrading, exactly as suggested in the docs we provide. If you haven't, do as suggested and ask support from whoever created the e107 port you upgraded from or the people who created the upgrading instructions you followed.

Unfortunately, the backup I made with the MyBackup plugin was corrupted.
I have emailed the developer of the e107 Coppermine bridge, but haven't got an answer yet.

Thanks anyway

I'm sure that he's very fond to hear your complaints by email. Developers hardly like to be contacted directly by people asking for support. I wouldn't find it surprising if your email went unanswered.

I thought I was being more polite by keeping my query private.
I guess I could add a post to the plugin's forum page.

I was going to try installing the Coppermine upgrade again, hopefully not screwing it up this time.
The step I had trouble with was adding an admin to the database with phpMyAdmin.
Will this work or will I get duplicate entries in the database?
Should I start a new thread for this?

Thanks
