Im looking for a way to have a slideshow of a amount of random files.

Is there a mod or a plugin for this type of thing?

You can already view a slideshow of the random meta album.

I was thinking in puting this slide show insted of the Random Files in the index page, is this possible?

Check out cpmFetch - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?board=87.0 and this link on creating a slideshow from it - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=38934.0. With cpmFetch, you can do lots of other things as well with your images from Coppermine.
Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.
