so, i upload and extract the zip onto my server properly. when i run the install.php
this is what i get

Quote.  The installer is locked • • • ERROR • • •  The installer has already been run successfuly once and is now locked.If you want to run the installer again, you first need to delete the '' file that was created in the directory where you put Coppermine. You can do this with any FTP program

now, what exactly is the problem? it was never installed, i never ran the install file before. it wont even let me enter hte info for mysql, etc.. etc...
and what file does it want me to delete?!?!

Look in your server for your_coppermine_directory/include/install.lock.
This file is created when you install, and prevents accidental re-installation.  If it is there, delete it.

Where did you get the download from?
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

I installed 1.3 first, realized it didn't work with phpbb integration for me, so I deleted the folder and all the tables from my server. Now I'm getting this installation error when I try to install 1.2, but the include folder doesn't contain the install.lock file.

Any help would be appreciated,
