Before posting this topic, I've used the search on the forum. Found these links

So I've reset the cookies, no result. Even the account I've used to create the database isn't able to login. So I've looked in the database to reset the admin passwd. Problem is that there is no userId 1 !

So the problem is that I can look at the album, but I'm no longer able to login and upload some pictures.

Here's the link http://www.pro-tuningteam.com/fotoalbum/

Yes there is.

To reset the password, use 'browse' and the set a new password making sure to select the MD5 option.

Hi,

THX for the quick reply, but the account that created the upload is no longer available on the phpbb_users.

What I've noticed is the following: I thoughed I'd made 2 seperate databases, one for coppermine and one for a forum. When selecting the coppermine db and select the phpbb_users it shows in the header the name of the forum database. Can this perhaps be the problem ?

What does phpbb have to do with anything?

I think that is the problem. I'm using 2 seperate databases, one for Coppermine and one for a forum. When I select the database in Helm Control in order to open the database for Coppermine, the database for the forum is shown instead.

I'll send a mail to the hosting provider in order to solve the problem, at least if that is the problem

Django940

Ok, problem solved

Stupid me forgot that the coppermine database was build with another account. The control panel selects the database based on the credentials of the original account. I've used the MD5 option as Nibbler suggested and now I'm again able to upload pictures.

For all those who have read this topic, sorry I've spend your valuable time

Hi,

I think i have the same problem.

I installed my Coppermine gallery with fantastico on its own database.  I was able to login, i uploaded my images with no troubles.  Now i have tried to log back into the admin but i am unable to.

Any ideas how i can fix this?

I don't know much about databases and php!!  ???

Many Thanks
dave

Don't try to hijack a solved thread. Start a thread of your own, posting a link to your coppermine-driven gallery and a non-admin test user account. Locking this thread to prevent it from being cluttered even more.
