HELP!! Installed Mod Pack and now index.php is blank!

i installed the mod pack today exactly as directed and now my index.php is blank!  I ran update.php first and there were no errors and everything was fine, hen when i went to the index page there is nothing!

your help would be greatly appreciated!

I have put in to the hosting admin for a backup and i dont know when he'll get the email but id like to know what happened here anyway

I see...
make sure you properly uploaded everything (ascii mode for php, txt files - overwrite and not resume), especially the include folder... and there especially include/init.inc.php (spits out nothing when called directly but should say 'Not in Coppermine...')

yes did all of that and still the same  i did it again and everything is as it should be but index.php is blank still

No word still on the backup it could be a while so I'd like to get this fixed so i dont lose too much $$!

im look right at that file in ftp on my server!  I uploaded it again and still it says not found in coppermine!

I dont know what i could be doing wrong but i know for a fact it is uploaded and located on the server!

OK, now it does... it didn't when I tried few before. Now reup everything the same way you did for that file. Enable debug mode (Tutorials in top menu)

i dont have phpmyadmin that i know of and my hosting company isnt answering the phone or replying to emails!

there are several ways to troubleshoot your problems... however I think you're more interested in how to get everything going again without losing to much time...

very short answer: if you didn't corrupt the db, then replacing the modpack files with the orig files would undo everything.

You should upload a second CPG install and use that to try stuff before messing on a life environment

ok now im able to get to most everything excaept for the index.php which is the albums and everything i need! lol

the admin tools is blank and usermgr.php is also blank

download phpbb2018.inc.php from your server, zip it and attach it to your next post. Have you restored the original coppermine files or do you still try the modpack
