re-install coppermine-how to?

hi all!

my provider has deleted my gallery. they make a backup on a subFTP. The mysql database is OK. when i install now the newest coppermine, how can i say, that they should take the old sql-database? old albums i have upload on the new album-directory. can someone help me?

first you should make a backup of your SQL db

Then tell your host to copy over the cpg dir from the backup FTP to your http dir. Your orig CPG should work again...
Now update as described in the docs

As you now have a backup of your MySQL db you just have to restore the config table. If you missed to make a backup you have to check all settings and reapply them.

I was trying to reset values and I hit default - I can not access my gallery or even admin section- I m locked out- how d o I reverse this? I am with www.diane-lane.org - when O go to image section- I get an error message re database query

The reset to factory settings is located on the config page. On the versioncheck page, you can't ruin anything, it just displays things.

I can't access anything- I tried to go to my config section- It said that there is an error in the database query this all happened after I hit that button- I really need to figure this out- could you access my page?
