The problem is that safe mode may allow your script to create directories, but not to write to them. That's why it's silly.

It now works for me.

I'm interested in changing all the instances of "pictures" in the upload applet to "files" (I'm not saying my users are stupid, but this will seriously throw them off when they read they are supposed to be uploading PICTURES and not necessarily FILES as well), is this possible? I can go through code and change whatever is necessary, it'd save me a lot of headaches in the future!

I have Jupload mod working since back in 05 and curious to see this plugin style one. I even was about to update the old mod but why bother if this is better and easier. I am not sure how yours functions all around with the coppermine so would like to test it out.

Im running the software on my testserver atm, for educational purpose for myself, anon uploads are allowed, but needs approval, you could also register an account to get full access to every feature.

Did a couple of fast checks, and it changes with your language settings, meaning it should be located in one of the language files somewhere in the installation. But I couldn't seem to find it, so might be wrong.

I'll do a few more checks when i get home and have better time.

First of all, I have to say thank you for a very good plugin that makes Coppermine a much better product in total.

I really love the jupload plugin, but I am missing one feature that would make it all perfect.

After uploading the files, it takes you to the 'Edit files' section, where you can fill in the Describtion keywords and custom fields, I would love to see a feature that would allow me to type in this information one place, to then have it added to all the pictures i just uploaded. The reason for this is because some of my custom fields are photographer and location, something that in my case is the same for each bulk i upload.

Is there any chance to get such a feature in a future version?

Now I just need to somehow get that code merged with the edit_uploaded_pics.php that comes with jUpload.

Maybe I am to biased because I have been using my system since 04 or 05 (2-3 years)

I DO appreciate the coders dedication to coppermine and making this mod I know it is a lot of work. Great job for the user to easily install and work.

If my understanding is correct: the applet now shows 'files', and you to replace it by 'pictures' ?

  If yes, as I already answered, you can take the applet sources in http://jupload.sourceforge.net, and change it yourself. These text are already translated in several languages, and for a lot of users. So I don't want to change them.

Actually, you should have a default category selected: your personal album. If not, there is a bug.

Please note: it may take some time: I'm working on Cirno's wish. And it implies an important rewriting of the internal applet code.

Adding parameters coming from an HTML was just an existing gapplet parameter to use. But string encoding was not correct. So applet will properly respect, but all HTTP writing and reading is to update.
