Hi
I can see the green background and the correct theme on mozilla firefox on my website
http://www.coloriage-educatif.com
But with internet explorer, i don't have the green background and the website is not centered, i can see black background, if you can see it the first time with I, surf on the page (most popular etc )
I dont know what can happen and to do ?
Best regards
Thanks

Tranz

It looks the same to me in IE and FF. Try clearing the cache or do forced refresh: ctrl F5

Confirming what Thu said: I can see no difference between IE and FF - see attached screenshots.

Thanks to have taken time to see it but i always have the problem when i clic on others links like "most popular" in IE  :-\

I couldn't find the page you were referring to so I looked at "Most Viewed" and it looks the same in both browsers. Please post a link to the specific page if it's not so obvious.

Which version of IE are you using? I'm using IE 6 and it's fine.

I have been having a similar issue with a theme I am making.  At first I thought it was something with CPG 1.5 so I tried it on my 1.4 live gallery and go the same issue.  Inital display is sometimes fine but if you click on something liek say going from admin to non-admin mode the centering gets ignored. Click on refresh and it recenters. I am using Vista with IE7 (have not gotten a chance to test it otherwise).

Start a thread of your own, posting a link to the gallery you're having issues with. It's advisable not to try to hijack someone else's thread.

cpg1.5.x hasn't been released yet and goes unsupported. Therefor, reference to cpg1.5.x is invalid.

None of the devs is using Windows Vista afaik. However, I can test this on Windows XP with IE7. Therefor, do as suggested above: start a thread of your own, posting your issue, a link to the gallery that shows the issue. It may help to zip your custom theme and attach it to your posting (using "additional options" when composing your message) in the new thread.

I was not intending to hijack this thread, just wanted to mention that antisa33's issue is not isolated and I suspect IE may be doing something funky (suprise). I know CPG 1.5 is not realeased yet and I was not looking for support, rather was supporting another user that he is not alone at this time. I do have an XP VM install with IE6 and one with IE7 for testing and I tried it there, so far it seems ok. Once I figure out the issue I intened to post the fix/reason.

I use IE 7 and i have always the same problem, nobody can see it when he surf on my website ? ???

antisa33

I have just setting up the greenorg theme and i have the same problem : sometimes when we surf on the gallery the background don't appears
I think the cause is the CSS and DIV etc...

antisa33

When i dont see the beackground i clic on REFRESH and the background is here (appears), then i surf on the site, the problem comes and there is not the background on some pages, and when i clic refresh again the background appears

Stramm

disabling debug mode may help as IE renders it different than Firefox (tries to display the entire line and therefore sometimes breaks the table layout)

I found something !

I have downloaded the new blix theme installed and i get the same problem on my site.
I went in your demo board and the blix theme is ok with my IE, so the problem come from me.

I realize that in my website when i select the langage english US the problem is not here ! ALL is ok !!
So i have downloaded the new coppermine version i have taken the new french.php file but the problem is always here WHEN the coppermine is french with the blix theme with IE i have this background problem !

What do you think i can do ?

Thanks a lot

antisa33

That is ok problem solved :

I have opened the french.php file in dreamweaver , saved named french2.php uploaded in the lang directory selected this lang on my coppermine and ok it works  :D

antisa33

Always the same problem with the french language, with others language it is ok (try at the bottom to select french and surf)
Some ideas please  ???
