HELP!! i uploaded all the files to my site but when i go to the place of install.php it says this: (https://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.imageshack.us%2Ffiles1%2FUntitled-4copy2.jpg&hash=f995224795c376ad5d09943d775df3b5fcfe7bcc) HELP!

Casper

You need to type in the full url, i.e., http://yoursitename.com/gallery/install.php

Then, once installed, you will be able to use ...../gallery/ as the url to the gallery.

Note, in future, please use the heading as a short description of the problem, not just 'HELP'.  otherwise all the threads would just say that.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Zcaithaca

just tried that and it says "page cannot be displayed"

btw...srry bout the title

Zcaithaca

also could a mod change the title of this thread?

You should have gone to http://www.graphikdezignz.com/Gallery/install.php instead and install coppermine first. Install routine will create the file the error is "complaining" about. Take a look at the documentation that comes with coppermine!

well, thanks but i did that and it said, page cannot be displayed, in other words, i cant run install.php

Casper

Don't know why that is, because earlier today I went there, and it was there.  I both typed it in myself, and followed the link in gaugau's post.

But it's not there now.  I think you have server problems.

I see you are running phpBB, did you modify the files ready for bridging before you uploaded.  If you did, reupload the standard unmoded files, and try again.

thx...im moving the directory of it and then ill try again

as a side note (may be related or not related): on Lunix systems, there is a difference between upper and lower case - maybe you did mess up things there, since your link has "Gallery" with capital G in it. Best bet: always use lower case for folder and file names!

P.S. I saw the install.php file as well when I posted my reply 10 hours ago - that's why I posted the link for you, so my guess is you changed something within the last 10 hours.
