The SMF team released SMF 2.0 beta 1 to Charter Members a few days ago. For those of you who have an SMF charter membership and want to run their forum on the latest beta version of SMF, here's a modification of the current Coppermine bridge for SMF 1.x allowing you to do so. :)

Just replace the smf10.inc.php file in the /bridges directory, and you should be able to either keep running Coppermine bridged with SMF if you already installed the SMF 1.x bridge, or install the bridge via the appropriate section. ;)

Thanks for your contribution. I added the file and the needed changes in bridgemgr.php and the docs to both the stable and the devel brnaches of the subversion repository. This means that your bridge file will probably be in cpg1.4.13 and cpg1.5.0.
I want to point out to newbies that Aäron contributed code for a package that hasn't been released yet, so there can be only limited support for it. It may be subject to changes. Please report if the bridge file works as expected.

Once again, thanks to Aäron for his contribution.

My pleasure, GauGau.

It turned out the bridge contains a bug, though. I forgot to change the 'additionalGroups' key to 'additional_groups'. This may lead to private albums seizing to appear if you set them to appear only for a certain additional (hidden) group. The version attached to this post fixes this. :)

i can't get it to work on SMF 2.0 beta 4.
After setting up correctly the integration and activating it, i'm not showed as a logged in SMF user. Debbugging on showed that i was just a guessed, but on the forum i was logged in as a administrator. Apparently the bridge can't log in.
All help is realy welcome!
