Login /cookie problem

Hi, I've used a coppermine gallery and phpbb board for a couple of months now, the bridging worked and everything was fine - or so I thought. It turned out some of the members of the board have been unable to log in, so I changed the cookie settings yesterday and that fixed the problem on the actual board, but it messed up the bridging to the coppermine album. It says in the tutorial thing that the cookie path on the board config has to be left blank ("/"), however if I leave it blank no one can log in on the board. If I cange it to "/forum" everyone can log in, but no one can use the gallery. What am I supposed to do to make it work? I assume I'm doing something wrong since other people can make both things (both board and gallery) work, but since I'm no expert at this I've no idea what to do... Can anyone help?

Has to be set to "/", but you also must clear your cookies after making the change. You can change the cookie name to have the effect of clearing everyone else's cookies and then set the new cookie name in the bridge manager.
