I need help to connect database

Hello


Few days ago my site has been hackered .......it was  cpg1.3.5 as a books store , 

the old database and all files are safe

I put them all in a new file and made a new cpg1.4.13 in the main page.....but I don`t know to do connection

between old database and the new cpg1.4.13


please I need your help

Do exactly as suggested in the docs. Set up cpg1.3.5, then upgrade as suggested in the docs. Most recent stable currently is cpg1.4.14.

do what Nibbler suggests: update your gallery with the latest version (1.4.14)

The update process requires you to replace all files except the stuff that resides in the albums folder. Subsequently, if you're afraid to re-upload your corrupt cpg1.3.x files, then just make sure that the database is in place as well as the albums folder and the files include/config.inc.php and include/install.lock
Then upload the files from the cpg1.4.x package - this equals the same steps outlined in docs (upgrading section).
However: if your gallery got hacked (because you neglected to update so long although we have warned users that this would happen long ago), the attacker might have left backdoors and malicious files all over the webspace, so you'll have to scan the albums folder carefully for malicious files as well.

only one file was hackered (  include/config.inc.php ) ,I re_ upload the old one and everything is oky now  ,should I scan albums file??

and when I made the upgrade to copy1.4.13  becouse it is Autoinstaller in my lockalhost and

I keep all php files in ( include ) I did as they said in docs (upgrading section) but still not working

(  include/config.inc.php ) is right all informations are right as they are in database.... I dont know where the mistake is

Auto-installers are unsupported. The only supported method is the one discussed in our docs. Auto-installers are crap.

I canceled what I did before ,and made all steps as in your docs, I have my site back with cpg 1.4.14 but it's empty

Deleted the new copy and used the old one I lost the page again and got this result

Your include/config.inc.php file is corrupted. Repair the top of the file so it looks like this:

You probably need to use charsetmgr.php to convert your content to utf-8.
