I am back, here is the latest error message when I am trying to upload a picture...

Destination directory albums/userpics/10008/ is not writable by the script !

Casper

Make sure the albums folder, and all folders in it, and in those folders, are chmod to 777 or 755.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Just checked, everything is set at 755 and write.

Here is the site in question....

Try setting them all to 777.  Your new server may need that.

I just tried to change it to 777 and i wont let me, actually it will but it wont take the change. Everything is set at 755.

Try SILLY_SAFE_MODE.  (see docs, safe mode issues)

Looks like 777 was the magic number, I couldnt change it in my webhosts control panel, but I was able to change it in the FTP program I use. I didnt realize the change of that number is such a big deal, now off to do all the other folders and there are many.

Question,
Should I do all the individual folders or the USERPICS folder or maybe both?

Casper

ALL the folders within and including the Albums folder.  And do the include folder as well.
