PHPBB & Coppermine

Hi!

I'm newbe on Coppermine. I've got a site with phpbbfm and smartor album. I'd like, to power it with Cooppermine! So, I'd like to do this: disable login and register on coppermine, and make a user "logged" on coppermine, if he is logged on my phpbb, otherwise unlogged. But unregistered users can't view any album. Is Possible? How xan i do it?

Hi Andrea,

yes it is possible, using the phpbb bridge file, but there have been a few issues with the phpbb bridge.  Read this thread, http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=2972.0, and this in the docs, http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/manual.php#integrating before you do it.

You can prevent unlogged users from viewing your gallery, see http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/faq.php?q=registeredUsersOnly#registeredUsersOnly.

There is no specific Itailian support.  All support is done in English, but we understand that this can cause language problems, so don't worry about your English.  If you are really struggling to explain something, try in English first, then underneath, put it in Italian.  Someone may be able to help, but replies will be in English, and an Italian translation will only be there if the poster can write in that language.
