Unable to create thumbnail

Everytime I try to create a thumbnail I get this error:

The file 'albums/userpics/10001/thumb_25199064172008110258PM.jpg' can't be inserted in the album

Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image.

Can this be fixed?
