Hi, I have to remove "<!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.25 (stable)-->" at all of the pages since an advertising mistoughts the "Gallery 1" as a text in the webpage and does not allow (sorry stupid but) It is all pages at the bottom of the HTML just before </body> tag.
Is it possible to remove, if yes from which file?

Joachim Müller

I can see no reason why you need to remove that comment from the output. I haven't understood your explanation

- please re-phrase that.

Maybe you should consider respecting our board rules - that will make it much more likely that a supporter will be willing to look into your issues.

Yes ofcourse, (warning adult link) http://www.freegalleries.tk/gallery-699.html
I have got a paid submission at a high traffic TGP and posted this gallery link however the script refused to list the gallery because it found "gallery 1" in text.
Script simply does not allow to list a gallery if it has "gallery 1" in its html, silly but outstanding :)
I have confused too at first but then i find Every coppermine pages have the "<!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.25 (stable)-->" and it find the "Gallery 1" from here

armus

okay i found myself it is         $add_version_info = "<!--Coppermine Photo Gallery ".COPPERMINE_VERSION." (".COPPERMINE_VERSION_STATUS.")-->\n</body>";  at functions.inc.php  just removed it , it is working without a problem but i am not a php coder at all.

Thanks for returning and resolving your issues.
Each time you will update coppermine in the future you will have to remember as well to perform your edit.

Joachim

P.S. Side note for other coppermine users: when reading armus' posting I didn't know what TGP is, so I looked it up (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thumbnail_gallery_post) - obviously it's an abbreviation often used in marketing and the porn industry and roughly speaking means a set of scripts for content syndication among adult (i.e. porn) web sites. Not that we (the coppermine devs) would mind - we're aware that coppermine is being used for all sorts of content, including porn. We're just not experts on the field of adult web master services, so please be patient with us if we don't know the buzzwords of that trade.
