I am using a phpbb3 forum from a fresh install (non-upgraded) and a brand new install of Coppermine.  I have read numerous threads about this problem, however, I cannot seem to get admin rights when the Bridge is enabled.

I checked the phpbb3 admin group settings and it is #5, which is also correct in the phpbb3 bridge file.

Coppermine install: http://scdiving.com/gallery/
Forum install: http://scdiving.com/forum/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.26
Forum version: phpBB3  v3.0.6
Test user account: test/ test (for CPG Non-Bridged)

Forum URL:  http://www.scdiving.com/forum
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forum/
Use post-based groups?:  1
Cookie prefix:  phpbb3_1xre2

That's of course nonsense. We need a test user account of the app you bridge with. What good could an unbridged coppermine account do for us if the user management is dropped in favor of the user management of your bridging app.

Which bridge file did you use?

I downloaded the phpbb3 file to add to the bridging script that is part of cpg1.4.26

How should I set up a test account to be able to test the admin bridge?  I dont want to give out an admin account for someone else to try to do something foolish.

Yeah, sure, whatever: you downloaded it... ::)
I'm asking this for a reason: there are several of them available on different places. That's why I'm asking again: what bridge file are you using? Where exactly (post the URL) did you get it from?

There is no such thing as an "admin bridge".

I haven't asked for an admin account. I need a non-admin test user account from your bridgeing app, i.e. phpBB. That's not too much asked imo. Leave it to us what we need that account for...

Instead of arguing with supporters you should do as they suggest. After all you want something from us, not vice versa.

The phpbb3 test account has been created
Username: test
Password: 123456

I downloaded the original install files from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/coppermine/files/  which I was directed to from the download link on the cpg homepage.

I downloaded the phpbb3 bridge file from here: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,53678.0.html
