I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and phpbb3:
[error message here]
Bridge Manager: emergency recovery
If you came here to administer the BBS integration of your Coppermine gallery, you have to log in first as admin. If you can not log in because bridging doesn't work as expected, you can disable BBS integration with this page. Entering your username and password will not log you in, it will only disable BBS integration. Refer to the documentation for details.

I just got phpbb3 up and going, the last thing I need to do is bridge phpbb3 and coppermine. I get this error

I did read the documentation, but unfortunately i don't remember the name i used to log in as admin, i'm assuming its mine. But that's not working. Not sure where to proceed from here.

You could try searching the board for "lost admin password", which will yield loads of results on how to find your admin password.

Remember, you need to use the phpbb3 bridge - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,53678.0.html
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Yes i have the phpbb3 bridge and the appropriate modifications. Unfortunately i'm lock out for the 1 1/2hrs due to too many attempts. Curious, will clearing the sessions id bypass this feature? Thanks again for the help.

Open phpMyAdmin and edit the temporary login ban value, or better, remove yourself from it entirely.

Also, check to see if the phpBB3 admin user contains a password salt value and modify that along with your password if necessary.

I'm not seeing that. I did find recovery_logon_timestamp ;  2010-04-22 13:33:30

I got into the bridge manager and everything went fine. But when i login with my forum id from the login page for cpg it redirects me back to the forum. When i go to the gallery it is asking me to login again.

I forgot to add it still keeps me logged into the forums.
