I have an Icelandic domain name hts.is

As I want to host it with a cheaper foreign provider I have to redirect the domain name to http://s336462517.onlinehome.us/.

It is cloaked so it will show hts.is.  I can view the Coppermine gallery with http://hts.is/cpg and everything else works except upload with Flash uploader.

I get a security error.  Single file upload works. I did not forget to change the site URL in config.

The upload works fine when I use http://s336462517.onlinehome.us/cpg/ .

I am not so familiar with redirecting or cloaking.  Can I possibly use Rewrite in .htaccess instead of cloaking

Coppermine install: http://hts.is/cpg/ or the ugly http://s336462517.onlinehome.us/cpg/

This "cloaking" is just a frame. You should really set up the domain properly using DNS. You'll need to set the site URL to the real url (http://s336462517.onlinehome.us/cpg/ ) to use the flash uploader.

As said before, I know it works with http://s336462517.onlinehome.us/cpg/

But I do not want it used like that.  My domain name is hts.is and the gallery is hts.is/cpg and that is what I want to use.

I was hoping somebody here had a solution to this as it seems it is ONLY the Flash uploader that is not working.

Well, due to my lack of knowledge I was using a free DNS service with redirect and cloaking.

I found out I can register an external domain with 1and1.com and there is no cloaking now.

Problem solved.
