Remove last additions from main page

I searched the forum for info but couldn't find it. Since I am always adding a bunch of pictures at one time (as in a couple dozens) I find the last additions column on the main page ridiculous (at least for my use). I was wondering if anyone could point me to the right code to delete to remove this.

It's just a case of going into config (in admin mode), finding the 'contents of main page', and removing 'lastup, 2'.
