Modify Latest Additions code

Hi All,

I've tried to find an answer to my questions by using the search, but no results....

I'm trying to remove the date from the 'latest additions' album, but I cannot find the code for it.
What file do I have to modify ?

Open include/functions.inc.php, search for

Code Select Expand

case 'lastup':
scroll down ~ 40 lines until you find

Code Select Expand

build_caption($rowset, array('ctime'));
and replace that line with

Code Select Expand

build_caption($rowset);

Maybe it's possible. But I doubt that this would be an easy modification. Could be achieved with a plugin though.

I think that's to be done in the lang file (array $lang_date)

for the lastup you need to modify

$lang_date['lastup'] = '%B %d, %Y';
comment it out and replace with

Code Select Expand

$lang_date['lastup'] = '';
