Hi
I have just updated my gallery from 1.4 to the latest version and come up against a few problems. http://www.bmmfc.com/gallery
I followed the instructions to the letter backing everythin up before proceeading.
Before updating, the theme was set to "eyeball" after updating I logged in and found that the menu bar was lined up vertical and stretching all across the screen.
Before, it was horizontal.
I went into the config to change the theme to see if it would solve the problem but now I have lost all the themes and the "Header" photo I had to replace the Coppermine logo.

I also had a look in the new "Visioncheck" that has appeared and saw in the Commets that nearly all files are "outdated" or "file maybe corrupt"

Can anyone please point out where I have gone wrong and what I need to do to correct it.

Thanks in advance
Regards
Dave

No, you have an outdated version.
Quote<!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.5.8 (stable)-->

  • Use the links at the top of the page for Downloads and Documentation (for cpg 1.5.x) to start with
  • Use good unzip and ftp apps (if using Filezilla, set it to transfer in binary mode)
  • Make sure your backups are up to date before you start
  • 1.4.x themes need to be updated or replaced with cpg 1.5.x themes

Resolve your threads
If you have found an answer to your question, resolve your thread. Don't just post "I have found the answer", but tell others what you actually did to solve your issues. Posting a link to the page where you found the answer might help. Describing what you did might help as well. Finally, you can tag your answer as "solved" by clicking on the little image in your initial posting on your thread.
