If I have a private album, and want ONLY my family and friends that I have chosen to see pictures - which way is the best to go?

Shall I give all of them my password????

Any idea how this could be done nice?

SXXX

No, do not share passwords.

Create a new group, called family and friends, (or 2 new groups, family, friends), and put these users in those groups.

Now set 'users can have private albums' in config to YES.
Now go to the properties page of the albums you want to be private, and change them to 'can be viewed by' 'family and friends only'.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

don't make them use the same login, you'll run into problems with comments, rating etc.
Set permissions by group, register for them (each one having his own username and password) and send them thier login data by email if you're afarid they won't be able to register for themselves.

I already advised, I don't understand your particular problem.

OK, I understand.

So it is impossible to achieve that until support for password secured albums are implemented.

I must install each instance of CPG for every single client  :\'(
Thank you for your goodwill!

I really appreciate that.
