I click "edit files" to add title, keyword, etc, info to image files in a particular album , but because there are 40 files in the album, the images are split over two pages. If I choose 'display 50 files per page' it only shows 25 plus part of 26. If  I complete the different fields and then go to the next page to click the update button, everything is lost in the fields.

What to do?
Thanks.

Fill in page 1, and click update before you do page 2.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

That's the problem, I can't. The 'Apply modifications' button is at the bottom of page two.

Ok, there should be an 'apply modifications' button on every page.

Does this button show on the second page, or is it not showing at all?

It's showing on page 2, but not page 1.  When I set it to display 50 pics per page, rather than 25, it shows 25 plus half of 26 (ie three or four fields).

Mmmm, I just had a thought, and removed a custom field in config, so leaving only two instead of three extra fields, and now it shows 27 and bit of the next file on the Edit files of the same album - whether I choose display 25 or 50 per page.

Try setting it to a lower setting, say 15.  it sounds as if you may be having timeout problems with your browser.

javascript:replaceText(' ;D', document.postmodify.message);
Great! I changed browsers. It works okay.

Thanks.
