Hi Gau Gau, and eveyone!

I just installed my CPG 1.3.1 and everytime I click "Logout[username]", it sais "Bye Bye Username" and returns to the previous screen where I'm still logged in as administrator, and where I can still see "Logout[username]" in the top right corner of my window.

I installed it from the Fantastico Apps in my control pannel. Can I upgrade it to 1.3.2?

I'm also not sure how to do the integration with my phpbb 2.0.10 (I know this not the forum for that)...

Thanks in advance!

Mikas.

the fantastico version is known to have several bugs, that's why we recommend ugrading to the package we provide. You should be able to just overwrite the fantastico files with those from the package (refer to the ugrade guide in the docs for details).
To solve your issue, try deleting your cookie, or rename it (in coppermine config).

Regarding bbs integration: you're right - please read the docs, and if you still have open issues then, search the board. If this doesn't help as well, post your question on the bbs integration sub-board.

OK GauGau!

I'll just proceed to the upgrade. Actually I was thinking of removing the Fantastico version from my server and performing a full 1.3.2 installation... Or do you think upgrading is better?

Going through the installation instructions, I read that I should make sure to use the right FTP mode... What does that mean, and what mode should that be?

Also I read that I should CHMOD the folders "Albums" and "Include" to 755 (or 777). I really don't understand what "755 (or 777)" means... I really could use some more detailed info about this, since I'm kind of a newbie at this (usually a fast learner, though)!

Thanks!

Mikas.

My Server is a UNIX server. Is there anything else I should know before running the script?

Next to the lines that say you have to CHMOD there's a link that will lead you to some CHMOD tutorials. CHMODing is mandatory, you have to do that first. The command set's read/write/execute permissions on Unix/Linux systems.
If you don't have many items in your coppermine install it might be better to do a fresh install instead of upgrading (not because upgrading was less good, but a fresh install will eliminate the single point of failure of forgetting to update some files).

OK, Thanks! I'll be doing my best here!
