How can i remove the box that displays the thumbnail for that album?

I just want it to have the single box saying "126 files, last one added on Sep 25, 2004"

in theme.php

<!-- BEGIN album_cell -->
        <td width="{COL_WIDTH}%"  valign="top" class="tableb_album">
        <table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
        <tr>
                <td colspan="3" height="1" valign="top" class="tableh2">
                        <a href="{ALB_LINK_TGT}" class="alblink"><b>{ALBUM_TITLE}</b></a>
                </td>
        </tr>
        <tr >
                <td align="center" height="100%" valign="top" class="thumbnails">
                        <a href="{ALB_LINK_TGT}" class="albums">{ALB_LINK_PIC}<br /></a>
                </td>
                <td width="100%" height="100%" valign="top" class="tableb_compact">
                        {ADMIN_MENU}
                        <p class="album_desc">{ALB_DESC}</p>
                        <p class="album_stat">{ALB_INFOS}</p>
                </td>
        </tr>
        </table>
        </td>
<!-- END album_cell -->

Remove

                <td align="center" height="100%" valign="top" class="thumbnails">
                        <a href="{ALB_LINK_TGT}" class="albums">{ALB_LINK_PIC}<br /></a>
                </td>

You will also have to change the 'colspan' setting for the row above, to match the number of cells in the row you are removing the thumbnail from.  In  Rodinou's example, the cell containing the spacer.gif is missing, so the original colspan should be 2, not 3, and when removing the cell with the thumb in it, the colspan would not be required, as both rows would now have only 1 cell.

Hope that's clear.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

it's the code 2bornot2b :)

But anyway

the code in relation with colspan is a problem when number of cols are > of the colspan ... example

if you put colspan = 3 but you have 4 columns, it's not "the end of the world" (french expression)

but if you have colspan = 14 but only 2 rows, the layout is not affected.

I have seen it too ... but I didn't wanted to explain to prevent from complicate ... :)

I'm working of this portion in tableless mode too ... code "added" this day.

@ Rodinou,

my post was not meant as a critism, just trying to help keep the code from giving probs.
And I realised it was just a cut and paste and not your wrong code.

And 'it's not the end of the world' is also an expression in English  ;)

héhé Casper, great ! :)

But I'd rather to "precise" : in another post, I saw to tarique "you are crazy" and he has taken it very bad ... in France, the sense is really different. I forget sometimes Coppermine = several lands ... and so the expressions have differents sens ...

In french, the expression is "Ce n'est pas la fin du monde" ! :)
