I read through all that I think would apply to this problem, and yes I did check three times if the chmod of the albums directory and its subdirectories were set to 755 or 777 (theyre set to 777).

it was first installed as v131 and updated to v132 (i did change the files and run update.php) and runs w/ a modified igames theme.

Now when i goto the upload file page, select a file, it says it has uploaded the file, now when i go to enter the information, that little thumbnail that normalyl shows is no longer there.... and when i enter the info in and click submit, it says that file was unsuccesfully added, i tried with other files, same thing... its only a simple jpeg file well within the image dimension limits, file size limits, and since i have no quota, i know im within im uploading quota as well.

now i will proceed to show you the debug info from the pages...

on the upload page i get three array errors:

Notice: Undefined offset: 2 in /home/fez/public_html/cm/upload.php on line 250
Notice: Undefined offset: 3 in /home/fez/public_html/cm/upload.php on line 256
Notice: Undefined offset: 4 in /home/fez/public_html/cm/upload.php on line 256
(see debug1.txt)

now when i hit continue after it says the upload was succesful i get:

Notice: Undefined variable: file_failure_array in /home/fez/public_html/cm/upload.php on line 1940
Notice: Undefined variable: URI_failure_array in /home/fez/public_html/cm/upload.php on line 1941
Notice: Undefined variable: zip_failure_array in /home/fez/public_html/cm/upload.php on line 1942
(debug2.txt)

then to enter the file info i get:

Notice: Undefined index: OS in /home/fez/public_html/cm/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 157
(debug3.txt)

then it says previous file could not be placed with:

Notice: Undefined index: user1 in /home/fez/public_html/cm/upload.php on line 2146
Notice: Undefined index: user2 in /home/fez/public_html/cm/upload.php on line 2147
Notice: Undefined index: user3 in /home/fez/public_html/cm/upload.php on line 2148
Notice: Undefined index: user4 in /home/fez/public_html/cm/upload.php on line 2149
Notice: Undefined index: OS in /home/fez/public_html/cm/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 157
(debug4.txt)

i know it looks kinda long, but please help?

ignore the notices, they don't matter. Please post a link and test user account (non-admin) with upload privileges.

I got this message:
QuoteSorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files

Please create an album and give the guest account upload privileges. Make sure to test the account before making us test with it.

fez

goto usergalleries on the bottom and theres only one album, called test. i tired it and it will allow me to upload, it just wont uploadright because of the same problem.

kegobeer

Hmmm,

I tried in the site theme and classic, with the same result.  The pic was uploaded, but then 'could not be placed'.
This is a small jpg, known to be good.

Go into the groups manager, and switch uploads to single file only, and see if this problem persists.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

fez

ok i did singlefile upload and i get: Error executing ImageMagick - Return value: 127

ok so there could be a problem w/ IM obviously so im having my host check it out, considering its part of my hosting package... anyhoo ill post back in a bit about what my host has to say...

Casper

There's also been quite a lot of discussion on im error 127.  You should search the boards for this error message.

ok so i talked to my host, apparently one of the servers, the one my account was on, caught a bit of a virus.

it removed a few of other peoples accounts completely, i actually am missing files, but none from my cm  directory (where coppermine is installed), anyhoo another site that same server uses coppermine and image magik and it works just fine apparently.

i want to like..reinstall my site, but i dont want to reupload all those pictures and redo all the info for it... any suggestion on what i should do?

Joachim Müller

Just re-upload all files from the package (after your webhost has made sure the virus is cleaned on the box and ImageMagick is up-and-running again). Your pics are stored in the albums folder, as long as you don't delete them, nothing will happen to them. Take a look into the documentation that comes with coppermine and follow the upgrade instructions, they apply to your case as well.

When I , as a guest, upload an image to an album it says:

The file 'albums/userpics/10005/dhlyellow.JPG' can't be inserted in the album
Error executing ImageMagick - Return value: 127

I've searched this topic and still I don't found anything that sorts out my problem.

Can anyone help?

Joachim Müller

@Matt22: Don't double-post - you already posted this on http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=8253.msg51035#msg51035  ! Are you trying to make me mad on purpose? :o
Go to advanced search and enter "Error executing ImageMagick - Return value: 127" into the search fileld, there are deifinitely the answers you need.

Joachim

Matt22

GauGau, CAN YOU READ?

QuoteI've searched this topic and still I don't found anything that sorts out my problem.

Casper

MATT22

Can YOU read.  You have been asked to abide by the board rules many times now, but persistantly flout these rules, and then get abusive when the devs and supporters point this out to you.

The answer to the  error 127 problem is easily found, that it is not a coppermine error, but an error with the path to imagemagick, or the set-up of imagemagick.

These following posts are just 3 of many saying the same thing.

Now I suggest you review your attitude, because I think Gaugau or Tarique would be fully justified in banning you, as I would if I had the power.

ok problem solved!

closing remarks:

I dont know what caused that error, but it wasnt IM's fault.
The upgrade idea helped.
Thanks to all that helped!
