TWO PROBLEMS!!!! NEED IMMEDIATE HELP!!!!

As we all know coppermine rocks.
Anyway.

I need help with two problems, firstly I am making a Picture Of The Day website for a video game
and I want to have the basic thumbnail on the frontpage that , when clicked, goes straight to
the large image + comment screen without having to go through all the catagories, albums and all that.
And I want to disable 'Random Files' and 'Last additions'


Now my second problem is that when I post comments, all it says is this:
(...) (...) (...) (...) (...) (...) (...)

WHY?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!! IM LAUNCHING MY SITE TONIGHT!!!

Log in as administrator, click on config link. Under heading "Album list view" -> "The Content of main page", replace with breadcrumb/catlist/alblist/
