i've been getting this error since yesterday.  Previously the installation of coppermine I had was working fine.   I re-chmodded everything to 777 but I am still having the problems.  Anyone have any ideas?

sorry guys, I think I found the problem.
as I found in a search on the forum, my edit file is unaccessible.  I'll need to talk to my server guys to see why I cannot change any permissions to that folder and hopefully this dillema will be solved.
