hello,

let me first state that this is an excellent script, it is the best i have ever used.

i have 2 dilemas, the first is that on my site i have a couple of of albums i can not delete, the first one states "There was an error while processing a database query" when i try to delete it and the other one states "Directory 'albums/xxxxx/xxxxxx/xxxxxxx/' is not writable, files can't be deleted".  i have the machine sitting next to me that hosts this site so i can do anything needed to either the script or the db.  it is running winxp pro, apache 2.x and php 4.x.

the 2nd dilema is titles under thumbnails.  i commented some code in the displayimage.php file -

//    $info[$lang_picinfo['Filename']] = htmlspecialchars($CURRENT_PIC_DATA['filename']);
//    $info[$lang_picinfo['Album name']] = '<span class="alblink">' . $owner_link . $ipinfo . '<a href="thumbnails.php?album=' . $CURRENT_PIC_DATA['aid'] . '">' . $CURRENT_ALBUM_DATA['title'] . '</a></span>';

so the filename and album name was not listed in the fileinfo but can't remember where i commented out code to turn off the thumbnails name.

thanks in advance for your time and this excellent script :)

This sounds like you have deleted some files from your server by ftp, rather than using the inbuilt delete functions of coppermine.
If this is the case, you will just have to use your database tool to edit the database and remove the albums.

If not, check your folder permissions.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

anybody have any ideas as to why there are no titles showing up under the thumbnails?  when i hover over it the tooltip brings up the info, but i want the filename under the thumbnail.  please help... i have it set in the config area but still there is nothing showing up.
