I host myself so i have access to everything. I did everything the general upload troubleshooting thing said should be done. I checked over everything a few times and it still doesnt let me upload anything. my phpinfo() is at www.pyroandy.com/phpinfo.php
Pretty sure ive got everything covered but i could have missed something.
Or could something else be wrong?

The error in single file, debug mode:
File: /htdocs/gallery2/db_input.php - Line: 221

Enable debug mode, switch to single uploads, and post the actual error message you receive.
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

That's the only thing you see when you attempt to upload a file?

If you have multiple uploads enabled, you need to switch to single uploads, enable debug, and then report the error messages and anything that isn't normal, excluding the raw debug output.

Multiple? ok trying that..
I didn't get anything in multiple file upload. SIngle file returns what i said and thats it.

edit:
ok i read that wrong. Well it was in single file only before and thats all i got. Unless you want that debug output stuff at the bottom ..
full message is
No file was uploaded !

Post a link to your site, with a test (non-admin) user and password.

The message is "No file was uploaded".  There are a lot of threads about this message.  Try searching for that message (enclose it in quotes) and see if those posts are helpful.  It may be that your host doesn't allow http uploads.

Are you able to batch add images?  As the admin, that's what you should do anyway.  Read the docs if you don't know how to batch add pictures.

No i cant batch upload. It says to choose the directory or something but nothing comes up to let me choose it. I have checked all of the threads i could find on this problem and nothing has solved it. I honestly wasnt kidding when I said i tried everything . Everything i have found i have tried and failed at. If you want copies of httpd.conf or/and php.ini i can provide them. I just really want this to work, it looks like nice software.

Ok batch upload works. See the topic called 'ImageMagick' in this (upload) section for a little problem i am now having with that. I still want uploads working though...:(

What about all the posts that deal with "no file was uploaded"?  Did none of those help you?

Nope. I can do with the batch add thing I suppose its just not preferable. But now I need to get image magick working again. BUt thats another thread (called "Imagemagick" - not made by me)
