well ive got users with two accounts.. one for coppermine and one for wbb 1.2 how can i turn those accounts into just one account usable in both scripts

Crrash

sorry but there is no info about wbb1.2... (it talks about 2.1 but that is a much more advanced version which one has to pay for....)

mmmh the accounts are created in both, and i cant delete any of them, and as the link you gave me didnt answer my question (or i just didnt understand it) my question still stands:
how do i merge the accounts?

Joachim Müller

we don't know how they could be merged. Coppermine offers a mechanism called "bridging" that makes your bbs and coppermine galllery share the same user management (i.e. use the one from your board). That's what the section in the coppermine docs I posted refers to. Please read it carefully.

Crrash

sorry but i dont really understand what it means....
so you create in burning board a user account which then is usable in coppermine?

but somehow it should still be possible to add the uploaded pictures to the right wbboard account...

did anyone ever test it on a wbboard 1.2? i tried to search in the forum but there is no info

oh well i guess ill just back everything up and then try it

yes, that's the proper way. Try using the wbb bridge coppermine comes with and see if it works with your older wbb version as well. Please report back.

so this:
// In this example there are 2 subdirectories
// WBB: http://yoursite_name.com/wbb2/
// CPG: http://yoursite_name.com/cpg/
// Setup path to your Woltlab Board directory to change this

// The paths to your Woltlab Board directory
define('RELATIVE_WBB_PATH','../wbboard/');
define('WBB_WEB_PATH','/wbboard/');

// database configuration
require_once(RELATIVE_WBB_PATH."acp/lib/config.inc.php");
require_once(RELATIVE_WBB_PATH."acp/lib/options.inc.php");
define('WBB_DB_NAME',$sqldb);
define('WBB_BD_HOST',$sqlhost);
define('WBB_DB_USERNAME',$sqluser);
define('WBB_DB_PASSWORD',$sqlpassword);

// cookies configuration
define('WBB_COOKIE_HASH',$cookieprefix."cookiehash");
define('WBB_COOKIE_USERID',$cookieprefix."userid");
define('WBB_COOKIE_USERPW',$cookieprefix."userpassword");

is what i have to edit? what the heck? it is different and less explained than that in the guide....

i dont get this..

// database configuration
require_once(RELATIVE_WBB_PATH."acp/lib/config.inc.php");                       <-what is this?
require_once(RELATIVE_WBB_PATH."acp/lib/options.inc.php");

// cookies configuration
define('WBB_COOKIE_HASH',$cookieprefix."cookiehash");
define('WBB_COOKIE_USERID',$cookieprefix."userid");        <- what do i change here...  also the guide doesnt tell how to change cookies in wbboard..so i dont need to do that?
define('WBB_COOKIE_USERPW',$cookieprefix."userpassword");

The stuff in red might need editing. Can't tell you more, I have no idea how your bbs app works.

Crrash

ok.. wbb2 path is anyways wbboard that i have already done

now those require once.... is that acp/lib/*.inc.php   in the wbb2 folder?

acp might be the admin control panel folder (which does not exist.. there is only an admin folder with these files:
admin.php
_data.inc.php
class_db_zugriff.php
global.php
incomingdata.php
index.php
logout.php
upload.class.php)

please tell me the functions of the acp/lib/*.inc.php   files

(the cookies ill just leave for now)
