Can I move files from /userpics to folders of my choice?

I just installed and setup Coppermine the other day, and have since uploaded 200 photos in 20 or so albums. My trouble is that I rushed in a little, and didn't read much of the doco first (..probably not alone there).  What I didn't read is that...

"It's recommended that the coppermine admin uses ftp to upload many pics in one go. Use your ftp software to create sub-folders within your_coppermine_directory/albums/, where your ftp uploads can go to. It's a good idea to have a folder structure within the albums folder that reflects your coppermine categories and albums, but it's not mandatory."

I uploaded these photos via the Coppermine upload feature, rather than ftp. So, having 200 photos (+ thumbnails) in the /userpics folder, is there a (relatively easy) way to move these into album folders of my making and fix the Coppermine references to them? is there an existing script/add-on or something which can do this?

As any users I set up will rarely be given access to upload their own images, this isn't a huge issue I s'pose. ?? It would just be preferable to have all my images in some logical sub-folders on the server.

afaik there is no mod readily available to do what you want. You will have to manually change all the filepaths in database to reflect your new directory structure. It would be kindof risky to do so. Before attempting any changes do make a backup of both albums directory and database.

If you want you can leave the already added 200 pictures to where it is and use batch add from now onwards.
