I tried to search for this topic but it yielded too many results!

What title? The gallery title, category name (title), album name (title), pic title? What config? Admin menu item "config"? Album properties? Edit pics?

Please be more specific.

the title that shows in the browser's toolbar at the top :)
i typed the wrong thing when i did the install

Edit the themes/your theme.html.
Near the top, in the <head> section you will find <title>your site name</title>.

edit this to what you want.

If you allow changes of themes, you need to do it in all themes you allow/use.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

thanks for the help,
but i cant seem to find the theme.html you speak of. where would this be located? i see only template.html in the theme directories of the site

Casper

casper's tip is not correct: leave <title>{TITLE}</title>in template.html just like it is. Instead, go to coppermine config (logged in as admin, admin mode) and look for "Gallery name" - change the vaule that comes in this section, as it affects what's shown in the title tags (the {TITLE} stuff in the template being replaced with some dynamic content).

This did not work for me either, I have it changed and it just keeps putting "Gallery"?

On edit: Nevermind, it was an IPB lang file intergration issue!
