Hello CopperWorld !

I found a very funny site that allows you to see where others users in Coppermine Photo Gallery group are located across the world.
I thought it would be fun to set one up for the Coppermine Community.

google map (which is the underlying service) doesn't know my city, so I can't participate, sorry.

Pick one really nearby, and make a comment in the "shoutout"? We all want to know where you live GauGau, so we know how far it is from the big soccer stadiums - as we will all invade your house when the World Cup begins.

SMF has a Google Member Map plugin... maybe we can host it over here instead?

Ask to Gaugau if it's possible to add an other SMF plugin...? and our CPG forum became much slower than never

But why not use an other free host to say the same thing ? Frapp'r is not good enought for us ?

I agree with Pascal: anything that will increase the load on the forum and thereby have a negative impact on performance won't be implemented - there is already a high load on the server.

waiting for google to update their locale info for Germany. A rough guess (klicking somewhere into the map with a broad zoom level) isn't good enough for me.

City? And I who thought Google was the all-knowing atlas, knowing all the world's cities. I guess you must have meant "village".

All,

My village have 400 persons, and of cousr not recognized by Google-Earth...
But near there is an other town known by Goo-Earth !
Then, i drag and drop the small pin about my real location.
Look at my location... nobody nobody arond me

Go GauGau, make a little effort ! TranzNDance too
