Hello, I was wondering if anyone may be able to answer a couple of questions for me?  The first is that I am having problems logging into my gallery for admin purposes.  For some reason, it ceased to log me in automatically on each visit, i.e. " remember log in".  I am unable to get into the admin section to approve the visitors screenshots for uploading to the gallery.

The second question I have is how do I upgrade to the most current version of coppermine photo gallery without losing the current screenshots that are posted?  I saw a warning when proceeding at one point that the installation of the newer version would delete the older version out of my data base.  I made a back up just incase!  I'm not to knowledgable in the areas of SQL and php databases yet, but am learning as I go!

By the way, thanks for providing such an invaluable service!

Thanks for any tips in advance!
Sincerely,
farmboyzim

Clear your cookies and try to login again.

To upgrade it's recommended to have a backup of your files and your db. The files you just can download or tar them first before doing so. To make a backup of your MySQL db use a tool like PHPMyAdmin. It's easy to use.
Then just follow the instructions. The upgrade won't delete your db or images. The backups are 'just in case'.
