The content of the main page

A (maybe) simple question:
I installed Coppermine 1.2. and it works very well.  Thanks for this excellent program.
Only one small Problem: In "Config" under "content of the main page" I wrote: catlist/alblist/torated,4
But now some Users vote for some Pic´s and the mainpage show more and more Pic´s (now 9 pcs) under "Top rated"
What´s wrong?
I´m sure, someone here in this forum can give me an answer.

The figure after the name i.e. random,2 means to have 2 rows of random pics,not just 2 pics.

So you are telling it to have 4 rows of toprated pics, not just 4 pics.
If you want just 1 row, just leave out the ,#.

Maybe you can help me to resolve a other Problem.
I can´t move individual Gallerys.
Under "Albums" are two Arrows (up and down) to change the Position of the Gallerys. If I move a Gallery, and click on "Apply modifications" this Gallery lost her Name and the discription on the main-page.
Do you know why?

Hi,

I don't know why this is happening.  Are you just trying to re-order the albums, or move categories?

Tips,

1.  when you have a new question, start a new thread (if you can't find the answer by searching first).  Many helpers look at the name of the thread, and because they don't know that answer, pass it by, but your question is about something else.

2.  I don't mind you asking me, but you will be better off asking everyone. You are much more likely to get the answer.  :wink:

please post this in a new thread.

Also, the term gallery applies to the complete application.  To avoid confusion, can you please use albums(contains individual pics) or categories(contains albums).
