I have the smf theme installed.

How do I change the link on the "forum" button... as it directs to /board  directory and I have smf in /forum
as you can see I know very little  php

any help much appreciated.

probably you've setup a 'Custom menu link'
can be changed in config -> theme settings

Thanks for pointing out the cutom link option. I can now use that in the future.
My trouble still exists... and as I said I am a hopeless grandad that knows little about php... I am ok with the html stuff.

What I need to know is  how do I modify the button in the SMF theme.

In my test site as well using JSAS it points to "http://localhost:85/board/index.php"  even though the forum is setup in  /smf

This is for the SMF theme

thanks
