font size of description and administration menu

I have tried everything i know to change the font size of the description that shows up by the thumbnails under the album lists.  It is entered when you put in the description of the albums.

Where can this be changed?

Also,  for some reason under my config menu my font is so small I can hardly read it?  Where is that fixed?

have a look in your themes css... class thumb_caption, thumb_title etc
and class admin_menu for the admin menu
