Can't Upload Large Photos, why?

hi. when im trying to upload large photos, for example 3 photos > 3mb, i get that error

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 12582912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7940 bytes) in /hermes/web03/b356/pow.chrparis/htdocs/gallery/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 262

how can i fix that? thanks!

when you are on Admin Mode, look at PHPINFO.PHP and read that MAX memory alowed by your host.
