Ok, Ive been hacked thru My_Egallery again; now, I have a 5.000pics database in My_Egallery: how can I move it to Coppermine?

Thanks in advance...

Kliber.

Creating a migration script requires knowing something about the file structure and database structure of each gallery.  I'd suggest you setup a Coppermine test install so you can see how it works, and then compare it to the structure you currently have.  This would give you some idea if the structures are similar enough for an easy migration.

Well, its seem like a task to accomplish; gonna give a try, anyone interested in this project? Since My_Egallery for PHP-Nuke isnt supported anymore, a migration script will be usefull to those who have large databases using My_Egallery, just the idea to add 5.000 + pics in a gallery gives me the creep, I wonder if Im the only one with this problem....

I think such a converter has been requested before, at least from what gaugau and I have discussed. so basically you are not the only one with such a problem. I will write the script If I can get a DB drop from the users who are using other galleries. If you have one, PM me and I'll give you my email address.
