Hi there,

First off thank you for taking the time to look into this. My host (powweb) has recently migrated my site to a new server, since then the gallery (http://rosario-dawson.net/gallery/) has not been working for anyone including myself as the admin. When users go in to login it says "warning your browser does not accept cookies" now I have attempted loging in from Firefox and IE here at home with my PC running on Windows XP, and Safari on a friend's Macbook running on OSX.

I did a search on the forum and attempted what the user several posts below and tried to change it so it's http://www.rosario-dawson.net instead of http://rosario-dawson.net and that did not work either. I also cleared my cookies as was suggested in other posts I read which did nothing as well.

Unfortunately this is a problem for all users who visit, and I'm not sure what to do to fix it as the administrator. I'd really appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Thank you
Joliz

You have whitespace at the start or end of some of your Coppermine php files. Go through any file you have modified, especially include/config.inc.php, init.inc.php, functions.inc.php and look for blank lines before the <?php at the start or after the ?> at the end.

Hi thank you for responding so quickly.

I did as you said and removed the whitespace from those files and I still have the same issue, did I miss something?

You still have 7 lines of whitespace. They appear to be in /include/config.inc.php

Thanks again,
I deleted all the whitespace I could see in notepad and it's still not letting me login. Is there a different way I can get rid of the space aside from deleting it?

Update your gallery. You should anyway, but the latest version can work around this problem for you.

Ok I upgraded the gallery, and I still can't login

You are still running 1.4.3. Review the update instructions and use versioncheck.php.

How can I be able to use versioncheck when I can't log in as admin or any other username? I followed the intructions from here: (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#14) to upgrade but without the ability to login to the gallery I don't know what else I can do

Upload all the files. Ensure files in subfolders such as 'include' are replaced with new copies. include/init.inc.php is certainly old.

I don't know how it happened but this morning I was able to login and realized the reason my upgrade isn't working. When I load files on my FTP it's not translating in the gallery. I attempted this by batchuploading pictures, and while I clearly see them go from my computer into the ftp, in the gallery batch add files they are no where to be found. Is this a glitch in my ftp or the formatting of the gallery?

If the files never reach Coppermine then it can't be a Coppermine issue. Make sure you are uploading to the correct directory and the correct server.

I realized I never put in the new address for the new server the site was migrated to on the FTP. You've been real helpful, again thank you for taking the time to walk me through the issues.  ;D
