Hello,

When a friendship is requested I can see "Users who want to be my friends", and when I click "Accept request" the page just reloads, and I can still see the user on the "Users who want to be my friends" list instead of the "Active friends" list.

Can you please advise?

Thank you,

Gyuri

some more information:

I use phpbb "2.0.18 or better" bridge...

The db user for cpg and phpbb is the same...

Stramm

can you post a link and two testuser accounts please

giorgio79

Hello Stramm,

Please see info as requested

phpBB 2.0.22 link: http://test.bannerkozpont.hu/forum/index.php

latest cpg link: http://test.bannerkozpont.hu/album/index.php

Bridge installed and works fine! There is a link on top of php to cpg for ease of navigation

Test users:

1.
login: test_user1
pass: test

2.
login: test_user2
pass: test

problem:
test_user2 requested friendship from test_user1, but I cannot accept friendship with test_user1 as the page just reloads

Stramm

works smooth as butter for me... check the two testuser accounts and find them being friends

I guess you just didn't check the checkbox....

again how it works
test_user2 opens test_user1 profile (coppermine profile: here -> profile.php?uid=3 )
and clicks the 'Become friends' button

when test_user1 opens his buddy manager (if the login box is enabled and the stats [as you did, in performance settings] then test_user1 will see that another user has requested friendship on top of the page [where the login box usually is])... so far so good
as said... test_user1 opens now the buddy manager (with clicking on the above mentioned notification link) and automatically comes to the 'User that want to be my friends' section (cause we have a request).
Now scroll down till you see test_user1 in the list. Notice the checkbox on the right side. Check it. In the dropdown box select 'Accept request' and hit 'Go'...

don't forget, you need to check the checkbox... imagine following scenario. You have two requests. One you want to decline and one you'd like to accept. Without the possibility to select one and accept it you won't be able to do that. The checkbox lets you do exactly this

I just did not click the check box that is all.
