how do you create an html link in 'image description' on

Hi, i have read the faq, and have come across 'add a link in album description' and you are supposed to use bbcode.

but

when i tried to do that to an individual image (a field) it would display the BBCODE itself, and not the output i wanted, i also tried html...can you help me?

oh no-i want this to happen:

Ok: i have a custom field added called 'High Resolution'

and in edit pics it comes up as a field for me to enter info

what i want to do is enter a url for a direct download of something otherwise in that field...

i just read how to do a link from a thumbnail description, but i want to do one from a custom field that appears in image information under the pic in intermediate display...
