ow can i remove this section from the home page?? i cant seem to do anything to remove it  :(

Yes, go into config, and change 'show first level thumbnails' to NO.

You also only have one album per page, this will become annoying when you have many albums.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here
