Switch host....now what?

I've decided to move my galery and i want to know what setting i have do you, what should i modify. I don't want to do something wrong.

yeah...that would be easy...but the problem is i only have a backup of the galery with out the dump of my ex host...and i can't acces it anymore...i don't know what's wrong with it...i can't get in touch with anyone...not eaven their site doesn't work....
Is there a way ii can't do it without the backup of mysql?

the db holds all picture info (title, filename, path, etc), the comments, user info, album and category info....

I'm afraid without it you just can batch add the saved images again
