Hi Stramm

In the process og translating language file for the mod pack to Danish, I have lost 3 Danish characters:
æ ø å (don't no if you can read them)

I'm translating the English language file from latest version of mod pack 1.4.13.bridge using the original Danish language file from Coppermin 1.4.13 to copy/paste unchanged parts. I have also added language support for mod pack addition 1.4.131 (cropping).

After translation I corrected 3 errors and the Danish language could load in coppermine with mod pack, but I lost the three Danish characters.

Any idear what causes this?

In Coppermine v. 1.4.12 this was changed:
Quote2006-12-11 Replaced HTML entities with actual characters in Danish language file {GauGau}
Is this affected by the mod pack?

Don't use entities. Use an editor that is capable of handling utf-8 files. I recommend using Notepad++. Attach your zipped file (even if it's incomplete) to this thread (using "additional options" when composing your message) and we'll look into it.

OK. I use TextPad 5 to edit the file.

Danish language file attached as zip.

Problem solved.
Changed settings in TextPad to utf-8 and saved the language file with the new settings.
Works fine now.
I'll continue testing before posting the final language file.

Thanks for your support and advices.
