hi there!

when i log in to my gallery and click "config" button, there's an error...
it says:

You are trying to access Coppermine's config page using an outdated link - the file config.php has been renamed to admin.php. You probably updated your site and haven't changed your theme as suggested in the theme upgrade guide.
You are now being redirected to the actual page you were looking for.

and i've tryed to fix it,it still doesn't work...
without config,i can't change my album list etc. which i'd really like to do...
please help...

thanks

as the message tries to tell you... you're using a theme for cpg 1.3.x that hasn't been upgraded properly. The config link points to config.php and not to admin.php. You can either fix your theme ( http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/theme/index.html ), switch to another theme like classic or manually enter the link in your browsers address bar ( http://barbara.byteact.com/gallery/admin.php ).

barbsii

well...i did try to convert the theme...still doesn't work...
and if i point my browser to that link,it just says the same thing...
any other way to change a theme?

Joachim Müller

Zip your custom theme folder and attach it to this thread (using "additional options" when composing your message). Your theme looks pretty straightforward like the classic theme, with only the stylesheet changed a little bit, so I guess you could just copy the file theme.php from the classic theme folder (the one that ships with cpg1.4.x) into the folder that contains your custom theme (replacing the file theme.php that resides there) and all should be well.

barbsii

hi!

i tryed to do as you've said-i put classic's theme.php in my siteground folder...
i attached zip file of theme...
i really hope we can fix it...;)

Joachim Müller

Unable to replicate your issue - there's no reference to config.php in your custom theme. Attach a screenshot to your next posting (using "additional options" when posting your message) that shows the error message.

barbsii

i have laptop...don't have the prtscr key...
so how do i make a screenshot?

barbsii

barbsii

sorry...what do you mean by clean? xD

Joachim Müller

Download a fresh cpg1.4.x package, extract the file admin.php and upload it to your server, overwriting the file on your server that appears to be broken.

barbsii

will do that ;)

thanks for all the help ;)
