Make sure that the mysql user has got the needed permissions using whatever configuration interface your webhost provides to administer your mysql settings. To review the settings used by coppermine, download your_coppermine_folder/include/config.inc.php to your client and edit with a plain text editor.
If you have no idea how to assign mysql user permissions, ask your webhost for support - this isn't something that we could possibly help you with.
